Where Was Farrah Fawcett During Oscar Tribute To The Dear Departed?

There were misty eyes at the Kodak Theatre last night as the traditional tribute to departed entertainers played during the Oscar ceremony.  What there wasn't, was Farrah Fawcett.  The late actress was missing from the tribute, and that has some people up in arms.  Fawcett, who passed away last June from cancer at the age of 62, is known mainly for her TV work, including Charlie's Angels, but she did make the jump to the big screen, starring in such films as Logan's Run, Extremities, The Apostle and Dr. T and the Women.  Veteran film critic Roger Ebert was particularly taken aback by Fawcett's omission.  On his Twitter feed, he wrote, "No Farrah in the memorial.  They have a whole lot of 'splaining to do."  A spokesman for the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences responded, "Every year it's an unfortunate reality that we can't include everyone."
