Judge Rules Joe Jackson Can Access Son Michael's Medical Files
MICHAEL JACKSON's father will be allowed to access some of his son's medical records after a Los Angeles judge ruled in his favor on Friday. The judge said he will review the records from Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center before handing them over to JOE JACKSON's attorney. Joe Jackson can only look at medical files that were created on or after the day Michael died, and can't make any of the files public. The pop icon passed away June 25th at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.
Joe Jackson reportedly wanted access to the records because he's exploring the possibility of a wrongful death lawsuit. Michael's personal physician, DR. CONRAD MURRAY, has been charged with involuntary manslaughter in connection with the King of Pop's death. There's also speculation that he might attempt to use the files to prove his son wasn't in a sound state of mind when he signed his will. Michael's will leaves his father nothing from his estate.
