Super Bowl 44:Queen Latifah Sings "America The Beautiful"

Grammy winners CARRIE UNDERWOOD and QUEEN LATIFAH got Super Bowl 44 started on the right note last night with solid musical performances at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. For her powerful rendition of the national anthem, Carrie wore a white outfit that was vaguely reminiscent of an ELVIS PRESLEY jumpsuit. She completed the look with silver jewelry adorning her right shoulder. There were no miscues as she sang "The Star-Spangled Banner," which is all you can really ask for in a performance of this magnitude.

Prior to Carrie's performance, QUEEN LATIFAH, backed by a children's choir, delivered a powerful performance of "America the Beautiful."
