Grammys Broadcast Draws Biggest Audience In Six Years

The Grammy Awards started the new decade on a high note. CBS' broadcast of the music ceremony on Sunday night was seen by an estimated 25.8 million viewers, the biggest Grammy audience since 2004. The Grammys averaged far more viewers than any of the programs that aired on the other major broadcast networks that night.
This year's Grammys were highlighted by a musical tribute to the late MICHAEL JACKSON and a collaboration between pop star LADY GAGA and pop icon ELTON JOHN. BEYONCE received six trophies to set a new record for a female artist at a single Grammys ceremony.
